SPF, which abbreviates Sender Policy Framework, is a verification system that aims at stopping the so-called email forging. Basically, it indicates sending a message from one e-mail address and making it look like it’s sent from another with the purpose to scam in some manner the individual opening it. This can be done from the Emails section of our Hepsia Control Panel which comes with the semi-dedicated accounts and even in case you have no previous experience with these issues, you won't have any problems to enable the protection. Everything that you will have to do is to choose a domain name from a drop-down list and then type in the mail server hostname and IPv4 or IPv6 address. When the new record propagates, messages from your emails will be sent around the world only if they are sent from that specific server. If your email addresses are managed by us and not by a third-party supplier, you will also be able to activate an option for e-mail messages to be sent only when the domain name features our MX records and this would be the safest option.
